Inform of Grant Award

Inform of Grant Award -- whether your grant is $1 or millions of dollars there are several steps to take once you have been awarded a grant.

1. Forward the following to the Grant Management Coordinator --

  • Award Letter
  • Contracts
  • Check
  • Board Agenda Item
  • Original Application

2. Request approvals--

  • Board
  • Superintendent
  • Supervisor
    • For Teachers -- approval is given by the Principal
    • For Principals -- approval is given by the Executive Director

3. Alert vendors -- contact whoever will help facilitate the work for example, this might include the evaluator you worked with


The Grant Management Coordinator will then --

  • Work with the Grant Manager to determine a plan of action for the grant
  • Work with the Grant Manager to develop a fully-financed budget
  • Ensure staff are aware of necessary trainings to possible include PeopleSoft, iProcurement, FMS and Fully-Financed Budget Training
  • Contact you to assemble your Grant Team that will consist of --
    • Grant Manager
    • Budget Administrator
    • Support Staff
    • Project Staff
    • Partners
    • Contractors/Vendors
